I had the absolute pleasure of being interviewed by ITV presenter and romance author Ellie Barker for her brilliant podcast. And yes, it was my first ever podcast interview!

Ellie asked me about my rather unusual childhood of “growing up everywhere,” and how all those different places may have planted the seeds of curiosity that eventually led me to genealogy. That curiosity took quite a turn when I uncovered a murderess in my own ancestry which became the spark for my very first novel.

Today, I write murder mysteries and psychological thrillers inspired by real historical storiesI’ve uncovered over years of research. And somehow, twenty novels later, my books are now read all over the world. It still amazes me.
